After a series of EPs for Get Physical, German DJ / producer Emanuel Satie turns his hand to
reworking some remixes on the renowned label. He turns the Coyu take on Smash TV’s “Mathew Pervert” into a bleepy, jittery acid house number, while his rework of the MANDY remix of Roland Leesker’s “My Warehouse” is an extended, pulsing groove, featuring pitch-bent vocals. The compilation also shines a light on some excellent remixes from other artists. Most notably, Tuff City Kids’ take on Roach Motel’s “The Night” is a thing of beauty, with the pair retaining the originalism classic swing and seductive flutes, adding in some tasteful keys.
