Consistent German duo Piemont have already hit the ground running this year, with their debut outing for Yellow Tail, Get Back enforcing the view that they mean business when it comes to producing dancefloor slaying bombs. Now, they switch their attention to promising Italian label Moan Recordings with the She Might Jack EP. As youd imagine, its a record thats laced with jacking grooves aplenty, not least on the title record, where the beats move at a frantic pace and the drums kick against a torrent of rich melodies. The second of the two originals, Dress Up, is injected with even more manic percussion, with a myriad of bells adding a touch of spice to matters. Finally, the always on-point Danny Serano lends She Might Jack a new gloss, with his remix notable for its shimmering guitar licks, clever chimes and swelling bassline. Another outstanding outing from the Piemont boys.
