Audaz label boss Alkalino continues his explorations of the outer reaches of house here on the imprint’s latest missive, the split Stand Fast & How I Knew EP. First up Markus Enochson’s “Stand Fast” is reworked by DJR, who turns in a wonderfully deep but thumping house grind complete with malfunctioning retro organ riff. Next Alkalino gets submerged in percussion with Deep Blast for the hypnotic collaboration “How I Knew”. It’s a new direction…and we like it!
