Having previously impressed via must-check singles on Deeply Rooted and Wolf Music, Marina Trench has now joined Dam Swindle’s Heist Recordings family. There’s much to set the pulse a-flutter on her first EP for the Dutch imprint, from the tipsy electronic motifs, pots-and-pans deep house percussion and squelchy bass of opener ‘Sunrise’, to the touchy-feely early morning bliss of similarly inclined (and every bit as attractive) closing cut ‘Wake Up’. Sandwiched in between you’ll find the organ and trumpet-laden deep house bounce of ‘Carry On’ and the loved-up classic house vibes of ‘Over There’.
