Long-serving Spanish producer Kiko Navarro has spent much of the last 18 months offering up collaborative releases. He’s already delivered joint studio works with Gye, Hugo Navarro, Buika and DJ Pippi and Willie Graff. His chosen co-pilots this time round are legendary techno and ambient producer John Beltran and chosen remixer Sam Redmore. Check first his main remix (track two), a gorgeously summery slab of organic, sun-soaked Balearic house positivity powered by layered Latin percussion, sinewy strings, marimba melodies and warming bass. Navarro loved the remix but wanted to put his own spin on it (track one), and that’s worth a listen to. A little longer and structuring to favour house dancefloors, it makes more of the South American drum sounds and heady bassline.
