As always with Maraki, they have once again assembled an all-star cast as they welcome both My Nu Leng & Skepsis inside for a wavy new selection, kicking off with their 3-way collaboration with Duskee entitled ‘Hot Flush’. This one takes us back to My Nu Leng’s much earlier, more tech-inspired bass design, with crunchy overtones and destructive drum sounds with a fiery arrangement built for certified dance floor danger. Next, ‘The Flight’ sees My Nu Leng roll out solo for an old school UKG-inspired warbler, laying down fiery 4×4 drum arrangements with a real fizzy bassline below, before Flava D arrives for some more collaborative flavour, giving an extra dash of spice to the euphoric harmonies and rolling drums of ‘Ascendance’. Finally, Bushbaby gets involved for a belting finale in ‘Crystal Clear’, another sub-warming display of 4×4 mastery, closing this project out in style.
