Originating out of Leeds in the UK, Submotion Orchestra is a seven-piece outfit taking in drums, keys, trumpet, percussion and bass with vocals from frontwoman Ruby Wood and further production coing from Dom Howard aka Ruckspin. Unplugged Vol I presents a sixth long form player for the group, with this rendition of tracks very much touching on classic piano and minimalism next to smokey jazz cafe vocals that takes a step back from the group’s live dub, funk, reggae and original jazz premise.
