After finishing off their Testpressing series back In January, Demdike Stare see out the year with a new Mixtape: The Age of Innocence.

If you’ve heard any of their previous mixtapes you’ll know to expect the unexpected, sticky-taping together unreleased archival material combined with tracks extracted from deep in their seemingly endless crates.

It’s answers on a postcard please for your guesses to the tracklisting – ‘cos they’re not telling us. What we can tell you is that a spot of stylistic dowsing will detect traces of untoward Techno jams, alien bogles, sepulchral wails and mystic 2-step, all organised with the duo’s imperceptibly strafing blends and patented sleight-of-hand; nimbly stepping over more sinkholes than the Mancunian Way, and thru a layout more disorienting than Whalley Range in a white out.
