It would seem that Scrub A Dub are intent on continuing their high quality run of releases as they bring forward this potent three track selection from Traces, who doesn’t hold back one bit. We kick off with the title track ‘Cc’, a raucous, writhing speaker buster of a composition, pushed forward by it’s grizzly synthesizer manoeuvres and spacey drum slaps, before the more stripped back LFO expressions of ‘Nature VIP’ deliver something on the more swampy end of the spectrum. Finally, we get ready to get our wonk on with ‘Hear Seh’, a super syncopated wobble-fest, perfect for sending the dance sideways.
