After a lengthy hiatus, one of Dubstep’s most exciting and pioneering labels Tribe 12 are hitting it hard in 2016. This is already their second release of the year and we aren’t even halfway through January! But don’t let that lead you to believe they are going for the quantity over quality approach, oh no sir! Having enlisted 3 of the scenes most exciting artists; Denmark’s RDG and darlings of the UK 140bpm sound Cessman and O-dessa. Thunder delivers a punishing warping bassline combined with reverb and delay laden atmospherics that is a sure fire screw-face maker. Crystal Palace is perhaps a nod to the London based premier league football club, though the spaced out synth pads and warm basslines certainly evoke images of tropical, palatial surroundings. Tribe 12 are sending a message out to the rest of the Dubstep scene with this one – better keep up!
