This 3 track EP provides us with an abundance of different flavours, but still retains the genius sound that is DFRNT at the very core of every tune. Let me first draw to your attention to ‘The Big Freeze’. It’s a Drum and Bass track that has been moulded like a true pro. It sounds like DFRNT has been producing D+B for a long time with the finishes on this track, but believe it’s one of his earlier efforts. It’s a refreshing BPM for his take on electronic music and hope to hear more of the same from DFRNT soon. Then DFRNT shows us what he is all about when he goes all out 4X4. A dirty, gritty Techno roller (with a skip) that will blow your socks off! Love the production on this one. Then we have ‘Monday Morning’. This does exactly what it says on the tin, just the type of tune you need to bring you down after a heavy weekend.
