Although he maintains a low-key profile, Munich-based disco man Raul Duque can deliver a pretty sizzling re-edit or two. Audaz certainly believe so and have signed him up for this three-track debut “Katz EP”. Starting with a crowdpleaser, first up is “Take Dat Funk”, a subtle rejigging Of Breakwater’s “Release The Beast” (best known as Daft Punk’s “Robot Rock”). Then we have the sumptuously orchestrated “Next Stop Love” a shining example of early 80s boogie, and finally we get the groovy clap-a-long funk of “Itz Alght”, wrapping things up on party vibe.
