San Francisco based Roam Recordings offer three stunning remixes of Berlin based new wave outfit Pardon Moi. Following the success of their recent singles on Emerald & Doreen Recordings and Nein Records, Thomas Freudenthal and James Brook have penned the evocative “Power to the People” and “Touch2Much” which were released originally on Hoga Records. Roam have gathered together some top remixers who put their own spin on the originals. Frenchman Damon Jee delivers a mighty Italo disco rendition which will appeal to fans of sounds on Nein or Correspondant. Fellow Frenchman Markus Gibb moves the tune into darker EBM territory with an exquisite production that has become his trademark. Finally NYC’s finest Curses (formerly Drop The Lime/Trouble & Bass) gives “Touch2Much” a neon-lit rendition straight out of the ’80s.
