Melgado is Northern Italian Fabietto Delgado. A DJ since the age of 15, Delgado’s passion for music pushed him to listen to almost everything through the years, but most particularly funk, jazz, soul and latin American music. He later pursued his night-job as a selector in Lombardia, with a passion for the most famous discos in the region. Here he went to see all his favourite DJs such as the legendary Tony Humphries and other American old school legends from the early ’90s. It is this influence that lives on through his productions on Black Soul, Sub Urban and Doner Music over the last few years, but he appears here for London’s Midnight Riot and follows up another release they had with them earlier in the year with his good amico Mena. Kiu D and Sun Daze are on remix duties.
