Well here it is and it comes with ‘Cortado’ as a third original track on here. Strong but smooth, pushy but soothing. One of my favorite tracks as well as one of my favorite coffees. For ‘Vowel Play’, we scored an amazing Prince Club (Snatch! Records) Remix. Trippy acid house on a 114 bpm. Autohypnotising slo mo mayhem. BS1 (Boys Noize Records) let the machines speak, turning the vowels into beats. Pleasure and pain under the influence of pure pink noise. A vowel belter.

The brand new release on Circle Music comes from Jobb & Corco. Since the early 2000s they use to produce music together. Jobb, first flashed from Acid-House and later influenced by Detroit Techno and Dan Corco, who is a Cirlce artist right from the beginning and who also released on labels such as GoodLife Records by The Hacker. If both meet each other in the studio, a chemical reaction happens, which has an explosive sound to result. ?Bouncing Voodoo? opens the series of pumping Tech-House tracks and delights listeners with an oldschool bassline and vocals that finally prove once again that downpitching is still more popular than ever. The title track of this EP is ?Devotion? and is intentionally set in the middle of this release, not at least for its catchy melody, a perfectly set into scene break and emotive vocals, it is the centerpiece of Jobb & Corco’s EP. They also set an homage to Tribal-House in the closing track ? Rockwell?. Here Latin American rhythms are arranged right next to groovy synths and fuse with the two previous tracks. Some artists are most creative when they entrench themselves in the studio, others when they produce music together with colleagues with a similar musical taste. Jobb & Corco are already doing this for over ten years and all of their productions so far are technoid and housy allrounders.

Great vocals used here with a few old school samples thrown in that will have any crowd on their feet.”All Night” gets deeper into the groove with a cool laid back house sound, smooth steady beats with some great synth keys providing a bit of funk and a super bass keeps this groove moving. The tune gets all Barry White with a deep deep vocal popping up throughout and this adds a real cool flavour.”Blues Train” shows us where Carlos’ style is going, he is able to give out an electro type vibe with all the elements of modern deep house groove. Familiar percs stand out well here but the big hitter on this tune is for sure the synth work, an infectious hook drives on and on with the added vocal snippets coming through, big big sound destined for a load of playlists.Finally we have “Keep Doing It”, just simply a pure solid, driving deep house groove. Real sharp hats and a nice thump on the kick marry well with very simple yet highly effective keys. What a joy to listen to, this will grab anyone and hold them on the floors against their will!
