D1 – Aetherius
D2 – How Can We Know?

Review: Acclaimed for many of his compositions on labels such as Aesthetic Audio, ART, Ornate, alongside his blistering DJ performances. AER boss Miles drops the label’s first and his debut album. Deep is a word often used to describe a lot of music currently out there, but not many touch the depths of this superb LP on Atmospheric Existence. Miles touches on many shades of sound with his trademark emotive warmth. Melancholy but positive vibrations flow out alongside abstract grooves. Hypnotic elements grace the journey, creating an otherworldy sense of space and distant unknown entities. Feeling & mood leap out of this LP at every twist and unexpected turn, circumnavigating the deep spectrum. Since his early releases, his imprint AER has become a highly respected imprint globally with a dedicated following. This LP was constructed to stand the test of time and stand it does, firmly rooted in the Cosmos.

1. Life Recorder – Meditation ( 5:47)
2. Life Recorder – Cycles ( 7:01)
3. Miltiades – s48sn ( 6:14)
4. Natan H – Giving ( 6:54)

A sixth release from Appian Sounds finds the London based label (with roots in Dublin) continue it’s focus on the split artist offerings with the Ervallagh EP featuring contributions from Miltiades, Life Recorder and label regular Natan H. Echovolt boss Ilias Pitsios has gone on record to call Miltiades “probably the best producer from Greece as far as deep house / techno stuff is concerned” and the evidence so far for Nous and Echovolt has backed that up. Here Miltiades offers a further reason to think that with the sublimely deep and rhythmically playful “S48SN” and it’s well balanced out by two raw jams from French producer Life Recorder and the sweeping analogue vista of “Giving” by Natan H.

1. Everybody Is Talking ( 6:40)

4. Speak ( 6:07)

It’s a great pleasure to announce the first release from mexican duo 4004 & Sebastien Vorhaus. They might not run as fast as Speedy Gonzales, but their music is super hot, deep and raw! Yeah you know we like that at Quintessentials…… 4004 & Sebastien Vorhaus work together as well as solo and their work has already been signed by the almighty Faces Records (Pablo Valentino and MCDE). Plus they also set up their own label, Vicario Musique, so these are definitely names to watch. Viva Mexico!
