Brighton’s Moony is back on top form, delivering yet more of his trademark slick productions on the Smoker EP. The title track is sprightly and light choppy future-step, whilst “On It beautifully fuses bassy garage with smooth 90s RnB. Elsewhere “Anti Chamber” is skippy speed-garage at its finest and “Chambers” is some pretty out-there hip-hopera. However the highlight if this release is definitely “Swimming” which is a mesmerizing blend of euphoric electro-house and rolling bassline swagger.
