Hekkla is a new project by the Australian duo Thankyou City, who have been making waves in the melodic techno scene. Their debut EP on Out Of Sorts, Reverse Groove, showcases their fresh and innovative sound, blending organic textures, hypnotic rhythms and emotive melodies. The deep dubstep of “Going In” kicks off the EP, while title track is a captivating journey that builds up with a driving bassline, ethereal vocals and a stunning breakdown, followed by Manami’s psytrance remix which makes for a euphoric climax.
