Thomas Von Party’s Multi Culti imprint out of Montreal is on to impressive things at the moment. Red Axes, Auntie Flo and Kleine Reise main man Peter Power have all appeared of late. This time it’s Aussie Christopher Colonna appearing with some oddball tropical grooves. Starting out with the dreamy and ethereal trap jam “Intro (Vision 1)” it is on to the funky Caribbean breaks of “Save The World” and the booming exotic sound collage “Immortal Birds Diwali” which has just got to be heard! Elsewhere there’s the broken and sultry deep house of “Peace Me Babi Dub” (a real highlight!) and the spooky, peak time full moon party vibes of “Birds In My Bedroom”. Nice one!
