“The new album is done, extremely excited about this one. I’ll reveal what label it was recorded for soon. I really let loose and played with a lot of ideas, and there is some humor in there. Some things I did differently on it: all the songs are short (1-3 min.), I used software synthesizers and effects, iPad apps, romplers, field recordings, only one analog modular synth part, one live drum part, improvisation and composition combined, real bird songs, synthesized bird songs, Volvo engine noise, digital synth aliasing used on purpose, and no low-pass filter sweeps.”
