The fifth Soultape EP, ‘Soultape’ by Soultape, is a more captivating minimal and tech house from Denis Kondraschenko, who has been producing for almost 20 years now. It shows too – his tracks brag with sonic character and this one has a vibrant house feel with snares fluttering over the opener as filtered synths bring texture. ‘Lost Flighway’ lifts its head with some prog-style synth progressions and ‘Twin Tricks’ gets chunky and funky with spangled and supple synths. ‘Cult Fiction’ is a deeper, dead of night vibe for more cerebral vibes.
