We’re assuming that Brighton’s Mofaux knows the actual definition of the term and doesn’t think its clever-but-hard name. If it’s the former then he’s got a good sense of humour, something he can afford to have because his tunes are actually pretty badass indeed. “No Sun” is a swingy slice of tough and bleepy 4 x 4, whilst “Workout” opts for a more rolling hip-house vibe. However it’s closer “Hoodwinked” that’s the real showstopper here – moody piano stabs, frenzied drops and funky cowbell-led grooves. Sizzling stuff!
