Riki Inocente brings his unique ‘London Beat’ brand of House music, making his solo debut on DJ Sneak’s cult label. ‘Epiphany EP’ started life on Riki’s birthday (6th January), a date also celebrated as ‘The Day Of Kings / Epiphany’, hence the EP name. It’s contents are a set of pure underground nuggets, worthy of Kings and House Gangsters alike, opening with the 90’s fused banger, ‘I Heard That Dreams Are Illegal’ that’s charged with Industrial vibes, a heavy filtered b-line and vocal stabs. ‘You Come Anytime’ gives a nod to Chi-town, fused with feel-good Latin rhythms and big band crashes, styled out with trippy vocals and eery film Noir synths; whilst flipping the mood ‘Dark Minds’ comes with a dark and meaty acid groove, haunting vocals and a snappy beat. Topping off this versatile debut is ‘Eye’ which takes us back to the 90’s once again with contemporary pressure beats and lashings of girly folk vocal loops laid over an Old Skool key hook.

Riki Inocente’s music has been moving dance floors all over the world for the last decade. Growing up on a diet of Motown and Northern Soul, Riki Inocente began playing at warehouse parties in Sheffield, UK, also ironically known as ‘Little Chicago’. His music pays homage to everything that is Chicago House, now living in London, Riki continues his love affair with all that is House music, but now on an International stage playing at Festivals and Clubs around the world. He combines his Soul roots with the underground rhythms that pulse through the city of London to deliver a sound that has taken a life time to create. His discography includes releases on Robsoul, Sneak’s Classics, Magnetic, King Street, and recently releasing ‘Between the Beats’ EP on DJ Todd Terry’s Inhouse Records and ‘The Londoner’ EP on Mark Farina’s Great Lake Audio label. Riki’s sound is a blend of rich melodic rhythms, twisting up with an eclectic spectrum of loops with organic synths, main room deep b-lines and Jackin drum patterns.
